I’ve been on the world’s longest conference call.

It’s been going on for three days.

Kinda like…Mr. Smith goes To Eastern Washington.

I’ve just returned, and am still tired from camping this weekend.

Before we were going, I was telling people that there were flushies, and showers. I explained that it was less “camping” and more “rural drinking”.

Turns out I was terribly wrong. We came very unprepared for Vantage, WA.

I have yet to find how hard the wind was blowing, but my guess was over 50mph, with gusts. This is the kind of wind that blows semis over, on the bridge crossing the Columbia.

Another fun fact: Where we were camping, the Columbia is 1.5 miles across.

It was a weekend of reconnecting with some excellent people that I never should have let go from my life in the first place.
