I’ve been outside the past couple days running around in the warm sunshine.
I mowed my lawn.
On Saturday, I walked around down town. I rode a [Segway] Scooter.
I also hugged a bum. He gave me a copy of his bum newspaper. He was well trimmed, and didn’t smell so bad.
I watched Zeb participate in a flashlight egghunt. I imagine that’s a lot like what war is like. Well, except shorter. Oh, and without guns.
On Sunday I went to my parents house. We ate stirfry.

We have a couple cell sites like these where I work. Nothing as cool as this Cactus though. I’m so glad I’m not some teenager on acid, walking down the street and seeing this. I think that would just entirely cave in my grasp of the world.

Trepia is a neat idea. You plug in your 802.11 wireless card, and see who else is talking to that same node. You get their profile and a picture and stuff. Great for public nodes, and chatting up people in coffee bars.
Here’s the page on their suggested scenarios. They don’t mention the “lonely geeks looking for sex at Starbucks” scenario.
I guess that goes without saying.
