I picked up [Black & White] last Friday, and my life hasn’t been the same since.

I’m usually disdainful at people who get hooked on “life suck” games (the Simms, EverQuest, etc.), yet I’ve found that I have become one of those “hooked” people. Last night I sat down to play for an hour. Next thing I know, it’s 5 hours later, and I had to will myself away from the keyboard and get to bed.

This is not a good sign…

Today, I’m reading every FAQ I can find on web, have created several custom tattoos for my creature, downloaded the Gorilla add-on, and got instructions on how to change the names of the villagers to names of my friends and family. I can’t wait to go home and try out the new goodies I discovered today.

I thought I was bad when I dedicated a few hours a week to Tribes. Now, all I want to do is get home, launch the game, and scratch my monkey on the belly (you’re a good boy…. yes you are…. you learned another spell… you’re a good monkey-wonky!).

I picked up Tribes 2 last week as well…. I’ve installed it, I’ve played it… and I’ll get back to it, just as soon as I can tear myself away from Black & White (hopefully before July).

Pray for me (I am a God, after all…. and if you don’t pray… my creature will toss your sorry ass into the ocean!)
